barrier, and the challenges she faced during language barrier. She
explained how she is facing difficult to communicate with the employees. She
expressed her feelings she is feeling stressed and not able to connect with her
colleagues due to her language barrier. Due to this she cannot also properly
focus on the work.
Summary of the challenges and Barriers:-
Anna confronts a number of difficulties at work. The difficulties that these people
face may be divided in to situational, dispositional, and institutional difficulties.
Following is the description about the workplace challenges:-
Situational difficulties:-
Anna has a situational issue due to the language barrier, which makes
challenging for her to speak with her coworkers. The fact that she works in a
business office where excellent communication is essential makes this difficult.
Dispositional challenges:-
These challenges are that faces which employees faces by personality, quality or
characteristics. For instance, Anna has a dispositional challenges that interferes
with her capacities to interact with her coworkers effectively. Her lack of self
assurance brought by language barrier that hinders her capacity to interact
with her coworkers.
Institutional obstacles:-
These problems develop as a result of an organization's rules, processes or
practices. Absence of language assistance or training programs is also
responsible for facing the language barrier for employees.
Strategies :-
If I were the employee's manager then I would help her with the following
strategies:-
1. Provide Anna with language classes or resources to help to improve her
English language skills. Doing so would provide her with a better understanding of
the language and make communication easier. Providing anna with language
classes or resources would also help her build her confidence in the workplace.
2. Create a comfortable working environment for Anna and provide her with an
understanding and supportive team. This could be done by establishing open lines
of communication and demonstrating respect for Anna 's cultural background.
Doing so would help anna feel more connected and included in the workplace.
3. Assign tasks to Anna that are specific to his skills and abilities, allowing her to
contribute meaningfully to the team. This would enable Anna to use his skills and
talents to benefit the team and help her build his confidence in the workplace.
4. Offer Anna opportunities to participate in group activities to help her build
relationships with her colleagues and feel more connected to the team. This could
include team building activities, group lunches, or any other activity that
encourages collaboration and socialization.
These strategies are intended to provide Anna with the resources and support
needed to overcome the language barrier and feel more connected to her colleagues
. By providing language classes, creating a supportive environment, assigning tasks
that utilize Anna's skills, and providing opportunities to participate in group
activities, Anna could gain more confidence in the workplace and be more
successful.
