Organizational Structure design
About the organization
I am interested in the Sierra Leone Educational Partnership Inc. This the non-profit
organization of the with the Winnipeg that help the children and young people that are
without the family and low income. I am not the employee in this organization but I want to
work here as a volunteer because I love to help the child. Lets look at the background of the
organization. They provide primary and secondary education to the juveniles. In the nineteen
centaury this organization was held in the Africa. During the development in the
twentieth centaury it has styled to British education system. After independence there was
pressure to change the education system. At the end of the war in 2001 67 percent of school-
age children were out of school. 1270 primary schools were destroyed during the war that
was totally shocking. After the war schools start to reconstruct and this organization start to
spread in different countries. The goal of this charity organization to give better education to
people who cannot afford the expensive education.
External Environmental Factor
There are a lot of external environmental factors that affect the organization. First if all, the
top competitor of this organization are the Macville charitable foundation, Masomo for
children, Kenya education Endowment for Fund, TH & VS Alumni Association, the Waldman
foundation Inc. That all earn high revenue and strong competitor of this organization.
Secondly, analyze the technological factor, they use the Woo commerce to run the websites
and they also use the different email formats. Moreover, about the revenue, they earn $894k
around organization that they spend in the education. Last but not least, for the social factor,
they have core values regarding Radical acceptance of diversity, gender equity, peace &
tolerance, Resilience, Responsibility, Self efficiency and innovation as well as growth.
Internal Environmental Factors
There are lot of internal environmental factors of Sierra Leone Educational partnership Inc.
very few employees work in the organization. Employees get good benefits like holidays and
annual vacations. They only provide the health care benefit to the pregnant women
employee. Lets consider about the organizational tasks and goals. As i talked before their
main goal to provide the education to the needed. They are improving their education system.
they give education to street child, mother's club and girls who have no access to education.
During the previous year they had some unqualified teachers now they are improving their
education system for example, they are promoting radio teacher programmers, developing
distance learning , preloaded devices for the students and also giving psychological support.
Lastly, this organization rapidly, growing from the starting of tweinth centuary. Now there are
some students from the organization who are attending the collage and universities.
Ideal Structure for the organization
I would advise the Sierra Leone Educational Partnership Inc. to adopt a matrix organizational
structure based on the information provided. With the help of this structure, the organization would
be able to address the identified internal and external environmental factors in an efficient manner.
Environmental factors outside our control. Also, Having a structure in the form of a matrix would
make it possible for the organization to react rapidly to shifts in the competitive landscape. By the
use of projects or initiatives as organizational pillars, the company is able to put together cross-
functional teams that are capable of responding to opportunities or threats posed by competitors.
